I have a 66 mod mq12a 9.5 I think I'm missing some parts from the recoil does anyone have a diagram and will a mq14e head fit this motor

Craig, Thanks for visiting. I am not familiar with that particular motor but in generally, all motors in that size range were available in both tiller and remote control. You should shop on e-bay to see if one comes up. I've seen tillers for other motors for sale there. Maybe you can get a parts motor for cheap. You might also see if you have a boat salvage yard nearby. Be careful because if you go to one of those places, you might end up buying a lot more than what you started out looking for. Tom Travis
