I would like to convert My 57-18hp Johnson to a single line because I read where the dual line is dangerous. Can I just cut and plug one line to add the pump or do I have to take off the intake? Thanks.

I am going to my local Boat Salvage Yard here in Indianapolis today. I will ask and see if they have anything. What is the model number of your motor?
