Did these motors have trouble with the oil pump? I have a mechanic telling me that while I am having this tuned up I might want to replace this pump, any comments or suggestion? Thnks, Dennis

I have finished rebuilding almost everything on the lighttwin. I replaced all ignition parts: coils, points and condensers. When I checked for spark I did not have any. I am doing this project with high school students as an extra curricular activity. When we first put installed the flywheel it was touching the coils. Could this minor contact have destroyed them? I will run tests today and go as far as I know how. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks Steven
