After changing water pump impeller on a 1973 65 hp johnson. There is water flowimg out of middle unit where it sits behind bolts holding motor to boat. Any ideas?

Thanks for visiting. I've never owned a ducktwin but it was basically the same as the lightwin. The only "option" was the folding models. I have a friend who worked at a marina in his youth and maintaned a rental fleet of motors. He is the one how told me about the problems with the folding model bracket not holding up to heavy use. I think maybe the ducktwin later models had both the high and low speed adjustments on the front of the motor.
