i have a 1958 johnson seahorse that i bought a couple of weeks ago but ppl are telling me to use 2 different mixture one says 50:1 other say 16:1 i dont know which to do so i mixed 24:1 but since i mixed it my motor acting funny it will run but i pull on it for about 10 mins then it will start idoling but its wide open and will slowly pick up idoling speed i think that its to much oil in the gas but i dunno it does it everytime i shut it off and it set for a couple mins any advice u guys have would help thank you

I have a 2 blade 8X5 counter rotation propeller (new old stock)that I am trying to find out what type/size motor it is made for. Can anyone help? Thanks so much in advance, Jean
