I have a slight oil leak that appears to be coming from behind the air cleaner (top front of motor). Does anybody know how to fix. Is this due to gasket problem? Engine has approx 20 hours. Dick

Chris, Thanks for visiting. I just happen to have mine apart and I am looking at it right now. I must have a new rope on mine because it had a knot on the end as you described. As you look into the starter assembly (from the botton upward), the rope is wound clockwise. Aslo you should see on the edge markings that say (ARROW HERE ROPE RECOILED). This is so you know where to cuto off your rope and put on the handle. I hope this helps. I can e-mail you some pictures if you need. I think I also have instructions in a manual somewhere that I can scan and send to you.
