I acquired this outboard in April. The motor has been running great all summer, and all of the sudden it is not running at full speed. I have the tiller turned to full speed and it is only going about half as fast as it used to, the RPM's are not going full speed either. There is nothing wrapped up on the prop and I'm not sure what the problem is. The motor sounds healthy but just isn't going as fast as it should. Any ideas?

Have a "66" Evinrude that misses on the bottom cylinder. After checking the coil and points(I think I did it right) the only thigh I can think of is that the plug wire is bad. Wasn't sure of the timing marks so it's possible the timing is possible off. Any idea's.
