I have a 57 evinrude model 10014 sportwin; it was not running when my friend gave it to me. We got fire to it first then with a good carb cleaning it started; however seem I cannot keep pressure from tank to the motor if I pump the tank all the time the motor doesn't stop. Looks like this converting would be a good option for me? Has anyone converted one of the 10 hp; i have read the 5.5 blogs(great info); am I looking at doing the same things to this 10hp? I cannot wait to get this motor running great and on the water. Thank you for any help.
