The belly pan is screwed to the exhaust tower with 4 screws (2 fore, 2 aft). You can loosen the pan by removing them, but the only way to get it off is to remove the powerhead (the screws are on the underside of the top flange of the exhaust tower). You may have to remove the shock mounts top and bottom to compete the disassembly.
